Good shepherd community united Methodist church hosts their annual mother’s day flower sale on Friday, may 7th from 9-5 and Saturday, the 8th from 9-3.  choose from hanging baskets, pots, and bedding plants for your special mom.  The church is at 2135 Ritner highway, Carlisle.


Big spring senior center’s grab-n-go takeout meal program for seniors over 60 is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for a recommended donation of $2. Both hot and frozen meals are available. call 717-776-4478 for details. the center is at 91 doubling gap road, Newville.

The Newville cowboy church has now re-opened for Sunday worship.  services begin at 9 am at the Mifflin grange hall on doubling gap road, route 233 north of newville.  all are welcome, come as you are, masks are recommended.
